SRI LANKA - COLOMBO SHARES DOWN BY 0.40% ON PROFIT TAKING

12/02/2010 - Colombo market was down once again today due to profit taking. ASI was down by 14.87 points to close at 3709.97 & more liquid Milanka index was down by 47.67 points to close at 4215.89 .

Turnover for the was Rs 974 m.n. Foreign participation is at a low level,foreign purchases amounts Rs 70 m.n. & foreign sales were at Rs 75 m.n.

There were 52 gainers as against 88 losers today.
