NDB goes for a share split
National Development Bank yesterday announced a subdivision of its shares in the proportion of one share for every ordinary share in issue, doubling its current number of ordinary shares into 164, 201, 902. After the share split, the stated capital of the company which is Rs 1.093 billion will remain unchanged, the bank said.
The increase of shares by way of sub division is subject to shareholder approval in a General meeting.
Currently the NDB shares are trading at Rs.360 level.
