Dilith forms investment arm

Trail blazer of Colombo Stock during May, Emagewise’s Dilith Jayaweera is yet to consolidate investments in Citrus Leisure, Kalpitiya Resorts and Waskaduwa Beach, Mirror business learns.

Speaking to Mirror Business Emagewise’s Director Dilith Jayaweera said, a company named Divasa Equity (Pvt) Ltd has been formed to consolidate the equity investments in Citrus Leisure PLC and other associates.

“Emagewise was initially a company setup for corporate communications and designing. We will concentrate on Emagewise’s core business, whilst the recent investments that it made will come under Divasa Equity.” Dilith pointed out.

“Our long term plan is to list it as the holding company” he said.

Meanwhile, in a public notice Attorney at Law, Saman Senadheera said the company incorporated under number PV 10320, titled Emagewise (Pvt) Ltd’s name had been changed to Divasa Equity (Pvt) Ltd.

Dilith Jayaweera and Varuni Amunugama led Emagewise, recently became active in Colombo Bourse, acquiring several stakes of listed companies in May, including 20% of Peoples Merchant Bank (PMB), controlling stake in Panasian Power, and another major stake in Colombo Land PLC.
