Ascot Holdings PLC’s (ASCO) shares yesterday hit lifetime high of Rs.192 amidst highly speculative intraday trading. The shares opened at Rs.150 and went up as high as Rs.192 while closing at Rs.170.
Turnover contribution by ASCO trades was Rs.253 million as 1.49 million shares traded during the day at the average price of Rs.169. There were two ASCO crossings; 150, 000 shares
at Rs.160 and 154, 000 shares at Rs.150.
ASCO has 8 million shares in issue and as per June interims high net worth investor Nimal Perera had 17.7 percent stake in ASCO. After the day’s trading the share was slapped with regulator’s 10 percent price band until September 19.
