Mar 21, 2011 (LBO) - Sri Lanka’s First Guardian Equities recently won the Century International Quality ERA Award in the Gold Category organized by Business Initiative Directions (BID).
The companies selected for these awards demonstrate "excellence" in leadership within each designated sector, increased market share, improved results as well as sustainability, a statement said.
The awards were held at the International Quality Convention in Geneva.
First Guardian Equities (FGE) chief executive Rohan Goonewardene said that this was an honour not only for FGE but also for the industry.
“This award to us means that we are on the right track,” he said.
The award is sponsored by 26 media publications, all oriented towards change and market trends, focused on innovation, growing brands, technology, new products, business news and finance.
