Asiri Hospital Holdings Plc yesterday acquired a 32.7% stake for Rs. 1.82 billion in Asiri Central Hospitals Plc from Asiri Surgical Hospital Plc, thereby increasing the ownership to 88.48%.
Asiri Hospital Holdings Plc said the move was to consolidate the shareholding of Asiri Central in the group companies as part of Asiri Group restructuring.
The stake of 32.7% amounted to 7.3 million shares and the deal was done at Rs. 250 per share. Prior to yesterday’s deal, Asiri Holdings held 55.78% or 12.45 million shares.
